What is a good Christmas gift for my exchange student?

I have a foreign exchange student from Japan for a year, and I need an idea for Christmas for her! We already did the typical sappy stuff like an american tshirt, blanket, calendar with pictures, and a scrapbook of her time here so far. But both my brother and I are getting electronics (me, a camera, and him a kindle) so we don't want her to feel left out. We were thinking one of those new ipod shuffles? She really likes music. We don't want anything toooo expensive, like 50$ and under would be great. electronic! thanks!

What about a camera for her? So she can take photos, print them and keep them in her scrapbook? Maybe a Polaroid!? iPod shuffle would be a good idea-with some big headphones! :D
