USA VISA application - temporary/business and non-immigrants?

Our President assigned me to facilitate the seminar that our company will be conducting in USA. I'll be travelling with him but he already possess a multiple entry visa and this is my first time to apply for it. I'm not sure if this could be an advantage but for additional info I've been to different parts of the world like Japan (sponsored by the same company), HK and Singapore (personal travel). My present position is Business Relation Manager and have been connected to the company for 10 years. Do you think i have a great chance to be granted a US Business Visa (non-immigrant).? What are the basic requirements i need to prepare? And how long does it normally take to finish the whole procedure? Thanks guys... I appreciate all your response.

Visa processing depends almost entirely on where you're applying. You can google the wait times for your consulate to see the average. Some consulates will interview you within 2 or 3 days of application, and issue the visa 2 or 3 days after that. For others, you could be waiting 3 months. Nonimmigrant visas are most commonly denied due to lack of ties to home country. If you have a job and a family and property, etc. in your home country and you document it properly, you should be okay. Coming specifically for a seminar and possessing a return ticket will help. The chances of obtaining the visa vary a lot depending on your nationality, too. It's a lot more difficult to get a visa if you come from a country with a high rate of fraud and/or visa overstays. The actual forms and documents you need again vary by consulate. Go to the consular webpage and follow the instructions there *to the letter.*
