Me and three friends are going for a 2 week (16 days to be exact) holiday to Japan. We're trying to keep it as cheap as possible and I was wondering how much money realistically we should take. Travel costs when we are there, hotels and essentials are all already paid for. Breakfast on most days and dinner for 5 days is included. We are travelling all over Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima etc). Actually I have researched other similar questions but none of them have the same criteria as mine. I was not being lazy asking this question, I genuinely am looking for an answer related to my specific circumstances. I do *not* have to pay for travel in Japan as I said because I have already paid for this and I only have a few meals covered as I already mentioned.

well acording to me, ( i have been to japan) I took about 700 US, dollars when i went to japan

Just hope that the exchange rate doesn't go against you during your stay and you lose money in the exchange process. You seem to be describing an all expense paid trip and want to know how much more money you will need? Everything seems to be paid for. Seems that you have everything worked out. Just bring more cash than you think you will need.

To add to what has already been said, have $5k in available either in cash or credit card to cover any extra expense. If you budget well, you will not spend all the money

The rising sun country is one of world leaders on manufacture of cars and motorcycles. Quality and reliability of Japanese cars is familiar to each motorist, after all hardworking Japanese to any work concern very thoroughly and responsibly, including creation of cars. In the Japan you most likely will not meet concerning old cars, local authorities with a view of stimulation of a domestic motor-car manufacturer have passed the law according to which on cars is more senior five years considerably insurance payments so the average Japanese easier and more cheaply to buy the new car raise, than to contain the old.
