Hey guys, Planning on traveling to Japan and planning on getting a 14 day JR pass. Anyone can tell me when the first/last trains are for each day? (So that I can better plan my trip)... Also with my JR pass, does that include the limited express trains. Eg. The train to Takayama from Tokyo? Thanks in advance!
The JR pass covers any JR-owned train. The last train is usually around 11pm, and the earliest is usually...I want to say 5:30 or 6am, but I can't remember (I'm never up to take a train that early!). Use a website like Hyperdia to double-check times and routes.
